Popvisly (aka Paul) represents the fusion of 'Pop,' drawing inspiration from Pop Art, and 'Visly,' emphasizing the visual aspect, resulting in a distinctive artistic expression. I specialize in the creation of dark fantasy illustrations and digital paintings, blending elements of wicked playfulness and Grimm storytelling. Using a minimal pallet of pop art colours to craft captivating experiences and visuals for viewers. Each artwork's uniqueness and narrative add depth to the visual journey. I am dedicated to pushing the boundaries of art, endeavouring to challenge individuals' perceptions of their surroundings. Through my creations, I aspire to offer glimpses into unseen perspectives and grant insights into the intricacies of another world.

/ Before & after
.

Since 2021 I have been proudly sporting an original PFP, the one-of-a-kind visual avatar that I created during my project's Generation stage. Made from several chosen traits this blue, three-eyed glasses lady has become my trademark persona.

But it's 2024 and I have evolved!

Traditional to Digital.

As an artist, I'm always looking for new ways to express my creative vision. Over the years using a broad range of mediums from oil paint and acrylics to watercolors. I have sought to map out the uncharted realms of creativity, with any medium at my disposal. Creating dark abstract works, landscapes, and surreal to original portrait pieces that represent a fresh stage in my ever-developing artistic vision. I'm only now finding a few styles that I find permanent in my library.

For nearly two decades, I've been passionately pushing the boundaries of illustration and digital painting. From the early days of Adobe Photoshop, using a mouse, to the significant advancement of the drawing tablet. It's been an incredible journey filled with creative exploration and discovery as I continue to come up with new ways to capture art in a digital medium. I have now moved on from Adobe software and use Clip Studio Paint and onto my eighth Wacom drawing tablet.

I'm super excited to have taken the jump into web3 and NFTs, so I can use the blockchain to make sure my work is secure and easily meet like-minded artists in the field. It's amazing how the power of technology can help digital artists like never before.
